Welcome to Mammoth Lakes! Mammoth Lakes is a popular destination for filmmakers and photographers with its picturesque Village and spectacular landscapes. Whether your intent is to do a commercial, video, feature film, or photo spread, we are here to help make the procedure as effortless as possible. You will need a permit to film/photograph in the Town of Mammoth Lakes. Our procedure is straightforward and designed to get the permit that you need quickly and easily. The Town's Planning Division is available to help by answering questions and providing guidance as needed. In addition, we are here to help facilitate any necessary cooperation between individuals, businesses, and other government agencies.

- $50 fee per application

- Please submit the application at least two (2) weeks prior to production date
