NOTICE FOR REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Town of Mammoth Lakes (Town), sponsor of Mammoth Yosemite Airport (MMH), is seeking statements of qualifications from professional consulting firms for airport architectural, engineering, environmental, and administrative services at Mammoth Yosemite Airport. The Town wishes to retain these services for a five (5) year period.
This RFQ serves as a solicitation of responses that will assist the Town in selecting one or more consultants to provide general engineering services to Mammoth Yosemite Airport (Airport). General engineering services include, but are not limited to, engineering surveys and studies, engineering design and architecture, construction administration/inspection, minor environmental, and providing documentation, applications, and reporting for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as needed.
FAA Advisory Circular (AC) 150/5100‐14E, Architectural, Engineering, and Planning Consultant Services for Airport Grant Projects should also be referenced. The AC provides guidance for airport sponsors in the selection and engagement of architectural/engineering consultants. It also discusses typical types of consultant services, contract format and provisions, and guidelines for determining the reasonableness of consultant fees. This RFQ does not include planning services.
The Town of Mammoth Lakes hereby notifies all respondents that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. MMH has an average Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal of 10.45% for fiscal years 2022-2024.

Oral clarifications are non-binding and any changes shall be issued by written addenda only.
