Procedure for Requesting Duplication of Architectural Building Plans
The Town is compelled to seek compliance with California Health and Safety Code Sections 19850-19853.
Anyone from the public is able to come in to our office and view building plans from any property.
If the plans are signed and stamped by an architect and/or engineer, then it is copyrighted material, and it will be necessary to undergo a legal process in order to obtain permission from that professional to copy them.
If you are not the property owner, permission will need to be obtained from the current property owner to copy the plans.
