Adopt A Hole Sponsorship Program
Installed in 2019, the Shady Rest DiscGolfPark® (under permit from Inyo National Forest) aligns with Mammoth Lakes’ vision to be the “best alpine recreation community in the country,” offering a new, exciting, fun and growing form of recreation. Designed by Avery Jenkins (2009 Professional Disc Golf World Champion), the 18-hole course was characterized by UDisc as extraordinary, and a “mammoth achievement,” with over 150 players rating the course a 4.5 out of 5.
The Shady Rest DiscGolfPark® Adopt-A-Hole Program will ensure sustainable funding for on-going maintenance and course enhancements. To further broaden the appeal of the course for all ages and abilities, in 2021 the Parks and Recreation Department is planning to install new recreational short tee pads and tee signs.
