Fall/Winter Programs (October - April)
Ice Hockey
Coed Adult Hockey is played on the Olympic-sized ice sheet at LA Kings Ice at Mammoth Lakes (Community Recreation Center). Both beginner and advanced leagues are offered as well as stick time, clinics, and pickup hockey. Registration for fall league typically opens in late summer with league play beginning in October. Registration for winter league typically opens in late fall with league play beginning in January.
Curling
LA Kings Ice at Mammoth Lakes is home to 3 full-size curling lanes. Coed leagues, clinics and, drop-in curling are available all winter long. Registration for fall league typically opens in late summer with league play beginning in October. Registration for winter league typically opens in late fall with league play beginning in January.
Indoor Soccer
Our coed indoor soccer league is played at the Mammoth High School Gym on a basketball court with a futsal ball. Registration for this league is typically opened in autumn and the league begins in January through March with playoffs concluding in late March or early April.
Indoor Volleyball
Our coed indoor volleyball league is played at the Mammoth Middle School Gym on two adjacent courts. Registration typically opens in autumn with league play beginning in January. Playoffs are in late March/early April.
Spring/Summer Programs (May - September)
Slow Pitch Softball
Coed and Men's Softball Leagues begin in June with playoffs in mid-August. Registration typically opens in April. United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) hosts a men's tournament and a coed tournament in July. All softball is played at the Shady Rest Park Baseball/Softball Fields.
Whitmore 50 Challenge
The Whitmore 50 Challenge is a personal race to swim 50 miles each summer at the Whitmore Pool. Each swimmer logs their miles throughout the summer with the Whitmore Pool staff during lap swim and public rec swim times. All Whitmore Pool swimmers are welcome to participate.
Pickleball
The town has an outdoor pickleball complex with 6 courts available for play located at 416 Sierra Park Rd, behind the Library. Courts are free to use and are first-come, first-served.
