Defensible Space and Community Clean Up Event
Join us on Friday, May 21 and Saturday, May 22 to grab a bag and help clean up our town! The Town in partnership with Mammoth Disposal
, Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce
, and Volunteer Eastern Sierra
(VES) have scheduled a Defensible Space and Community Clean-Up event. This year’s event is different from previous years as there is only one location to drop-off your green waste or trash. Town staff/volunteers will NOT be collecting yard waste or household trash from properties. All trash must be dropped off (for FREE…) at the Town yard (299 Commerce Drive). Learn more about where to get those orange bags and where to drop off your trash and green waste here
or to volunteer.

The program is open to everyone – businesses, organizations, clubs, groups, families, and individuals. The Parks and Recreation Department will accept sponsors for the Adopt A Hole program on a first-come, first-serve basis, consistent with the Department's Sponsorship Policy.
