DSES Virtual Sierra Cycle Challenge - July 22-26

Each year, Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra hosts a three-day cycling challenge to raise critical funds to support our athletes and programs. This year, they're going virtual! Join the challenge to ride a 160 mile tour over five days while supporting adaptive sports for children and adults with disabilities. Instead of completing our traditional route climbing more than 10,000 feet while circumnavigating the Glass Mountains, in 2020, riders can accomplish the challenge from their home roads, trails, or even their living room.

While 160 miles is the suggested distance, riders can choose to ride less or more to challenge themselves during the event. Through a combination of solo excursions and trainer rides, each rider will prove, "If I can do this, I can do anything!" Riders only need a bike (road, mountain, or stationary will work well), a method for tracking mileage, and a zest for fundraising to support athletes with disabilities. Daily Zoom sessions will be lead by a variety of charismatic support riders to spur on those riding indoors. Help DSES reach their goal of raising $150,000! Get more info here.
