The Mammoth Lakes Town Council approved a $500,000 Business Recovery Program to provide grants to small, local businesses adversely affected by the 2023 Extreme Weather Disaster.
The Community First program invests Town funds into small, local businesses to retain local jobs, preserve active, tenanted commercial spaces, prevent blight in the Town’s commercial sectors, and to assist in sustaining the local economy.
This program is designed to provide support funding for small businesses with a grant awards of up to either $5,000 or $7,500 per business.
This program has limited funding and may be discontinued at any time or upon the expenditure of all available funds. The program may be used in conjunction with any other state, county, local, or non-profit funding source. The Town’s decision on any application shall be final, and the terms of this program may be amended, or the program itself eliminated, at any time without notice.
