TRAFFIC CONTROL ON MINARET ROAD AFTER NON-INJURY OVERTURNED SEMI TRUCK INCIDENT
Mammoth Lakes, CA – On Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at approximately 9:58AM a non-injury accident occurred when a semi-truck overturned on Minaret Road/Hwy 203 near the Scenic Loop. Minaret Road is currently under traffic delays with escorted traffic only.
Clean up is expected to last several hours due to wait time for a commercial tow truck. Mammoth Lakes Police Department and Mammoth Lakes Fire Department are on scene and Caltrans is on route.
The public is advised to expect long delays and please avoid the area if possible. Be cautious when driving in the area and obey all traffic control measures. Updates will be posted on www.mammothlakespd.org and MLPD’s Facebook page.
