The Parks and Recreation Department is all recreation, all the time. We are passionate about our Town parks and facilities and committed to providing innovative and age-appropriate programming that connects with each and every community member to promote healthy and active lifestyles.
The Department proudly provides the following services:
Curling is back in Mammoth Lakes! Get your friends, coworkers, and curling enthusiasts together and form a team today. Four players on the ice at one time, playing twice a week on Sundays and Tuesdays at 7:00 or 8:15 p.m. at the Mammoth Ice Rink. Registration opens Saturday, December 8 at 8:00 a.m. and is $150/team. Only one registration required per team. League play will commence on January 6 and conclude on February 12 with the final playoff match.
Registration for the Adult Indoor Soccer League is now OPEN. Drop-in sessions will be held on January 6 & 13, with league games scheduled to begin on Sunday, January 20, 2019. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, so please register early to avoid disappointment.
Registration for the Adult Indoor Volleyball League is now OPEN. Drop-in sessions will be held on January 16 & 23, with league games scheduled to begin on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, so please early to avoid disappointment.
Toddler Time will be offered at the Mammoth Lakes Community Center (1000 Forest Trail) on Tuesday from 9:30-11:00 a.m. (4-week sessions) by Carole Mills beginning September 25, 2018.
Toddler Time is open to all parents who have children under kindergarten ages with typically 6-8 kids per class (max. enrollment 16). Sessions commence on September 25, 2018 and conclude on December 18, 2018 (See Table 1). Cost is only $48 / child per 4-week session with a 50% sibling discount. Payment is requested at time of enrollment in each 4-week session.

Join the Mammoth Peapod playgroup. Connect with parents and children in your area. All Mono County expecting parents and families with children birth to five are invited to participate.
