What's Happening!

Enroll your 3rd to 5th grader in Hot Shots Basketball! This is the best basketball program in Mammoth Lakes for elementary school children - coverings all the basic skills and preparing your child for future basketball programs within Mammoth Lakes and beyond! One month of clinics followed by almost two months of league play.

Ice Skating Lessons

2017-2018 Ice Skating

Fall Ice Skating Lessons

The Jump-Start Skating Program is intended as an introductory course for beginner skaters.* The classes are scheduled for a 4-week period from November 26, 2018 through December 17, 2018 and are held every Monday (weather permitting). Lessons are structured according to the U.S. Figure Skating Association's Basic Skills Program and focus on building confidence on the ice in a safe and fun environment. Program fee is $40 and includes skate & helmet rentals.

Winter Ice Skating Lessons

Open to all levels of ice skating enthusiasts! This 6-week program focuses on developing coordination, strength, balance and safely skills. Classes will meet on Mondays from January 7, 2019 - February 11, 2019 (weather permitting). Program fee is $50 and includes skate & helmet rentals.

Kindergarten - Grade 1: 3:15 -3:30 PM
Grade 2 - Grade 5: 4:00-4:30 PM
Grade 6 - Grade 8: 4:45 - 5:15 PM

Please feel free to send your child to class with a bike/ski helmet until they learn to 'fall safely'.

Toddler Time

Toddler Time will be offered at the Mammoth Lakes Community Center (1000 Forest Trail) on Tuesday from 9:30-11:00 a.m. (4-week sessions) by Carole Mills beginning September 25, 2018.

Toddler Time is open to all parents who have children under kindergarten ages with typically 6-8 kids per class (max. enrollment 16). Sessions commence on September 25, 2018 and conclude on December 18, 2018 (See Table 1). Cost is only $48 / child per 4-week session with a 50% sibling discount. Payment is requested at time of enrollment in each 4-week session.

 Mammoth Peapod Playgroup

The Mammoth Lakes Peapod Playgroup is currently taking a break for the month of July. Meetings will resume in August at Shady Rest Park. All Mono County expecting parents and families with children birth to five are invited to participate.

Mammoth Spanish Peapod Playgroup is back. This program is structured the same as Mammoth Peapod Playgroup only in Spanish!

Community Center Tennis Courts

The Community Center Tennis Courts will remain open through November 1 (weather dependent). Tennis programs with Tennis Pro Kyle Osland have concluded for the season, see you all next summer!

Special Event Permits

Event organizers are required to submit a special event permit application form that includes a detailed operating plan. Please submit at least 30 days prior to your event. More info.
