Location: 

Whitmore Recreation Area.  10 minutes south of Mammoth Lakes along 395.  Turn Left on Benton Crossing Road and follow for another .5 mile.  Whitmore Recreation Area and Track and Field are on the left.  Parking will be in the Track and Field parking lot.

Registration:  

Skip the line and register your child online or register at the event.  Cash only at event.  

$5 covers one child participating in any or all age appropriate races and safety course.  Adults race free with one registered child.  

Safety Course:  All Ages

This course is open for anyone to stop by anytime between 10:00 AM- 12:30 PM

Kids can enjoy biking around this safety course while learning important aspects of bike safety such as stopping at stop signs, looking both ways before crossing the road, ringing your bell to signal passing, (bells provided at safety course), and proper helmet use. 

Eastern Sierra Balance Bike Classic:  Ages 0-5

Race around our extremely fun and exciting balance bike course on the grassy athletic field.  Balance Bikes Only (Strider Bike, Pedal-less Bike, etc.).

Course opens for practice runs at 10:00.  Races begin at 10:20 AM

Short Course Peddle Bike Races:  Ages 5+

This race is approximately 3/4 miles of dirt and gravel, weaving around the baseball and athletic fields.  

Course opens for practice runs from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM.  Races begin at 11:30 AM.

Gran Fondue:  Ages 16+

Adult Race - free for parents of a registered child.  This 1.5 mile gravel race will likely entail more than just biking.  Be ready for tests of skills and tastes of fondue.

Course opens for practice run at 10:00 - 11:00 AM.  Race begins at 11:15 AM.  

Snail Race:  All Ages 

In this un-race, the slowest biker wins .  You must stay on your pedals, no feet touching the ground, and don't be the first to cross the finish line.

Gear swap:  All Day  

Bring your bikes and bike gear (helmets, pads, parts, etc.) to trade or sell.  Tables will be available on a first come, first served basis.  We provide the space, you are responsible for your items.

10:20am: ESBBC Race Under 2 years old

10:25am: ESBBC Race 2 year olds

10:30am: ESBBC Race 3 years olds

10:35am: ESBBC Race 4 year olds

10:40am: ESBBC Race 5 year olds 

10:50am: Snail Race

11:15am: Gran Fondue

11:30am: SCPBR 5-6 year olds

11:45am: SCPBR 7-8 year olds

12:00pm: SCPBR 9-11 year olds

12:15pm: SCPBR 12-14 year olds

12:30pm: SCPBR 15+ year olds
